Friars Bay Inn & Cottages rests on the shore of Friars Bay on Campobello Island in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick, Canada. This peaceful island, where U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt summered and to which he referred to as his “Beloved Island,” is home to beautiful landscapes and breathtaking waterfront scenery.
Campobello is accessible by bridge from Lubec, Maine (passport required!) or by ferry from Deer Island, NB, certain times of year.
In business for over 50 years, here at Friars Bay we have a lot of experience making our guests happy! We’re one beach down from Roosevelt International Park, just up from the local coffee shop, a short walk from the provincial park and golf course, and within easy walking or biking distance from many other amenities, including the Roosevelt House, grocery, liquor, pharmacy, post office, and more.
