Welcome to The Porch
Jean-Pierre “JP” Beaujean and Nathalie Lacaille, are the new Managers of the Porch this year! They serve up breakfast and lunch with the normal fare and they have new ideas to share in the coming weeks, such as wine events and Friday night barbecue and music. They also will be having Wednesday and Saturday nite cocktail hours with light fare and drinks (see menu!) Then on Sundays, they will have a brunch to enjoy and Tuesday everyone rests to dream up more delicious specials.
There is something for everyone on our menu. You can dine in or take away for a picnic or a family meal at the Inn & Cottages. If you have allergies, just ask about our menu!
Click below for the full menu and times.
Bear in mind, we are on an island so sometime the menu will change to accommodate a scarcity or a season treat! Check out the blackboard when you come to visit.
We recently sat down with Nathalie and JP and you can catch up on our conversation here:

We celebrate Canada Day with all sorts of fun, free events at the Herring Cove Provincial Park! Start with our fun run, or bring the kids and join in the treasure hunt and other activities before the Grand Parade and pet show! Live music and a birthday party for Canada round out these fun, family-friendly celebrations. It is also possible to see 4th of July (Independence Day) fireworks from the island.
JULY 29 – AUGUST 2
This annual music, art and culture festival features five days of free concerts, exhibits from artists on both sides of the border, and more all across Campobello Island. Music styles range from classical, gospel and jazz to bluegrass, folk, rock and country, and venues include beaches, historic houses, parks, restaurants and more.
Held in mid-August, this 2-day weekend event features live music, auctions, arts and crafts sales, chowder, barbecue, and more. Come for the scenery, stay for the lighthouse tours, children’s activities and food!
From our location along the water, it’s an easy walk to the Village Mart, which provides groceries, liquor, and pharmacy. The library, post office, and Deanna’s By the Bay are also very close by.
There are other dining options, a bakery, bike rental, and places to purchase local gifts and crafts available on the island. Wifi is also available, though gas must be purchased off-island. More information is available on Campobello Island’s tourist site.
