West Quoddy Head Light and Quoddy Head State Park
The Quoddy Head State Park boasts beautiful views with coastal hiking trails that include a cranberry bog and rocky beach. The perfect place to watch the sun rise, the West Quoddy Head Light is located on the most eastern point of the continental US. Originally built in 1808 at the request of President Thomas Jefferson, today’s tower was built in 1858.

Lost Fishermen’s Memorial
This tranquil site remembers those lost in the fishing industry off the waters of Washington County, ME and Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada. Their names are etched onto the park’s wave sculpture.
